The Axis Church St. Augustine

We've visited many churches in the St. Augustine area, and they all serve an important purpose in helping people grow closer to God. For us, though, Axis Church has become our church home. We were looking for a church that would lovingly challenge and encourage us to become more Christ-centered people, and that's exactly what we found. The church meets in an elementary school gym, so don't expect a big building or fancy production. There are no stage lights or a worship band, and that's part of what we love. The focus is on Christ, Scripture, discipleship, and genuine community. Anthony has a true heart for discipleship and is very intentional about shepherding people toward a deeper relationship with Christ. From our very first visit, we felt welcomed, known, and at home. It's a smaller church where people genuinely know and care for one another. We pray for each other, support each other through life's challenges, and after church you'll often find everyone staying to share lunch while the kids play together. If you're looking for a church that feels like family and is committed to helping people grow in their walk with Jesus, Axis Church is truly one of a kind.

The Axis Church is a wonderful new church plant in St. Augustine. Pastor Anthony teaches the Bible clearly and faithfully, and the preaching is centered on Christ and grounded in Scripture. The worship is simple and meaningful, Communion is shared each week, and the church feels like a genuine community where people care for one another and grow together. We also enjoy the fellowship after service while families eat together and the kids play. I would definitely recommend The Axis to anyone looking for biblical teaching, Christ-centered worship, and a welcoming church family.

We were actively seeking a church home that was Gospel-centric, with accessibility to church leadership and fellowship all while making much of Jesus! We found that home at The Axis Church St. Augustine. We may be small and not flashy; but, you cannot enter Crookshank Elementary's cafeteria on a Sunday and not encounter Jesus! Come join us!! The coffee is great and we have lots of friendly faces to make you feel at home. Also, Jesus!!
