We had a great lunch here. Calming outside patio with plenty of seating and dog friendly. Our food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. Will return for sure.

Don't miss Happy Tomato Courtyard and Cafe on 3rd Street downtown Fernandina. The food is excellent, they have a small cooled indoor eat space and a huge outdoor courtyard. Dogs are welcome, parking on 3rd Street a breeze. They even have a cat in residence, Bartholomew! Highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich with home made pimento cheese, absolutely delicious! The trio salad with tuna, chicken and pimento cheese on lettuce with tomato and boiled egg is a lovely plate. We also had a chance to taste the shrimp salad which was also delicious. The salads tasted just like my mom had made them! Everyone is quite friendly, Allison greeted us with a big hello, as did everyone. A really nice reasonably priced lunch in a very nice atmosphere! Well done!!
Walked upon this place and so happy we ate here!! I knew we came upon a phenomenal place as we were waiting to order and the phone was ringing every other minute for to go orders!! They were so kind and good people. The food is incredible!! One of us got the half chicken platter with mustard and spicy sauce, the other got pulled pork sandwich with sweet sauce…all AMAZING! Potato salad was best I’ve ever had; Cole slaw was divine! And the place is so cute. The courtyard is darling and the inside does the job to make the amazing food!
Generous nesting portions! Great tasting sandwiches and cute relaxing garden to sit in hidden away from the road.
The food was very good, great lunchtime fare. The pulled pork was a little dry, but the mustard BBQ sauce was very good. Wife loved the chicken salad and pimento, and said the potato salad tasted very fresh and homemade. We also tried the choc chip and walnut cookie and we're not disappointed.
