As a healthcare professional, the MA’s don’t know what they are doing. As a patient, the MA’s don’t know what they are doing. They are the ones making the decisions when speaking to a patient via MyChart or phone. It’s impossible to speak with the actual provider.
Here's what I hear UF Employees saying to me every time I have to deal with 'em: "Great, great Jill - just plan on losing more chunks of flesh out of your back. Sorry for the pain, suffering, blood, bandage changes and surgical mutilation that you have to deal with. Not our problem." After 3 years of sending canceling then not resending simple referral letters which UF refuses to put in "my chart" or I would text it to my dermatologist myself. Not that UF has any dermatologists to schedule appointments with - sounds pretty audacious for Florida health care providers. I'm sure there's a good reason why there's so many more dermatology practices in Illinois and so much less ☀️ ...
UF Primary has served me wonderfully in the last 3 years. Always able to squeeze me in for sick appointments and responsive on MyChart. I additionally use their neighboring office for prenatal care - equally as awesome.
Appointments take months to get. I have been an assigned patient to a physician at this facility for the past 3 years. However, in the past 2 years I have scheduled appointments and they are made with either the RN or Nurse Practioner. No luck on actually seeing the physician. Looking for a new PC physician.
I've been going to my dr there for 3 years. A former marine but very good at what he does
