WaterWalk Extended Stay Jacksonville Deerwood Pk

This is my second time staying here and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The facility and grounds are clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly, helpful, professional and accommodating to the needs of the guests. The location is tucked away from the noisy traffic and is very convenient to stores and restaurants. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

The good, the bad, and the ugly…. The good… the price, the location, esthetics, washer and dryer in the room, large refrigerator, stove top, along with lots of unexpected household essentials. The bad… front desk customers service. There are 3 men that typically work the front desk and only 1 with good customer service skills. The young black guy with dreads was the worst. He’s not the most pleasant individual along with the fact that he’s very lazy, combined with the fact that I don’t think he’s very knowledgeable of job( I think that’s where some of his attitude comes from). The other guy that didn’t give a positive vibe was the Caucasian male. I have a feeling he and the younger guy attended the same training. Dismissive and condescending followed by pleasantries. The ugly….i stayed in a room over the weekend that reeked of an awful odor. I can’t tell you what the smell was but I kept the window open for 48 hours and personally cleaned the room thoroughly with my own supplies. When I left it still smelled. Supposedly they were booked with no management available. No way that room should have been cleared by housekeeping. 2nd floor next to the stairs ( I bet it still stinks)

Stayed at the Jacksonville Waterwalk by Windham for a few days while family had surgery at Mayo. Room was great and the hotel was nice. The staff was especially friendly and helpful. Shout out to Derick as one of the best staff members. He was great with everything we needed. Definitely recommend.

Derrick was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and made it easy for me to walk in and get all the information I needed about the hotel. He really knows his job and provided excellent customer service. The location was very clean, and the entire staff was awesome and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back!
