World Golf Village Renaissance St. Augustine Resort

Jolan was an extremely gifted manager and his presence really made our stay here wonderful and noteworthy. Great leadership leads to great employees and happy workers. Brook at the front desk, and Kelly and Hannah at the hotel restaurant were all exceptional! I did not get the gentleman’s name that ran the breakfast buffet but he was also a gem! Wow. What a wonderful experience to feel so truly cared for while away from all your normal “comforts” of home. I never doubted for a moment if I had a need that it would be resolved and met immediately by this AWESOME staff!! Thank you so very much for your TRUE hospitality! God bless you!!

The staff at this hotel is refreshingly friendly and very focused on serving their guests. It started at the Valet thanking me when I asked where I should park so I was not in the way. Next up was the front desk which recognized by Lifetime Platinum Elite status and loaded me up with extra water, snacks and points. The room was a little dated but very clean with reliable service each day. The restaurant staff could not have been nicer. The breakfast always hot and delicious served by the friendliest waitresses you will ever meet. The highlight was the bartenders who ensured we could watch an "important...to us" football game. The game was quickly on every TV and Kelly, one of the bartenders transformed into a cheerleader rooting for my team :) I have never had so much fun in a hotel bar. Next time I am anywhere near St. Augustine, FL I will be staying at THE most welcoming hotel in Florida. Kudo's to the manager, Jolan McKiver for assembling and leading this team. Easily the best hotel team I have encountered in 40 years of business travel!

I had stayed at this hotel several years ago and remember how beautiful, even opulent, the hotel felt then. The years have not been especially kind and the hotel is definitely showing it's age. With that said, it's still is a nice plan to stay. The staff are very friendly, the breakfast was delicious and the view from our room was spectacular. However, the bed was so hard I thought I was sleeping on a pile of bricks. I had to look to make sure there was an actual mattress under the sheets. So if you like an extremely firm mattress, this is the perfect hotel for you.

I enjoyed my stay here and look forward to the renovations coming. The breakfast buffet was excellent and my server was excellent. Well done! The only suggestion I have is that during conventions the restaurant remain open later for lunch so folks who attend sessions past 2PM because the rush to the Caddy Shack there on campus overloads their kitchen, staff and the wait is long. I want to thank your gracious Concierge, Miss Jody, for her kindness and friendship to this mobility-challenged patron from May 1 - May 3. Your service and professionalism was and is very much appreciated. She is a wonderful representative for the World Golf Village Renaissance Hotel staff. Thank You for a great stay.
