Yume Fusion Sushi & Grill

Have ordered sushi in the past and it was good. But today me and my husband decided to dine in and yeah we won’t be going back. Customer service was mediocre. The server did not refill our drinks once and during the time it was not busy. My husband ordered Steak noodles and it was super bland. I ordered the Nabeyaki udon soup and was brought the Yose Udon soup and it was disgusting. It was bland as well and the noddles tasted like they were sitting in water juice. Broth had no flavor as well. It was sadly a disappointment. The atmosphere was unwelcoming as well. I’ve never been to an Asian fusion restaurant where they served food with no flavor. Do better people

Spicy salmon bowl appetizer was and generous portion and tasty. The salmon and shrimp hibachi was delicious. The food service seemed slow but our waiter was attentive. Definitely going back.

This place had good reviews, so we decided to check it out, unfortunately, our experience didn’t match the hype. We ordered the shrimp fried rice, and it was extremely plain. It was literally just rice, soy sauce, egg, and shrimp. No veggies at all, and no real flavor. Very bland. Next, we tried two different types of salmon rolls (as shown in the picture). One was $6.00 and the other was $6.50. Definitely not worth it. The rice tasted old, and the fish didn’t taste fresh, which is disappointing for any sushi spot. We also ordered a bento box. While it came with a decent amount of food, everything tasted like it had been premade and reheated. The chicken cutlet was sliced so thin you could barely taste the actual chicken. It also came with onion soup, but it arrived at room temperature. I even took a picture of the receipt so you can see how much this meal cost and honestly, you’re better off saving your money and grabbing sushi from Publix right next door. Much fresher and far more satisfying.

We went tonight and both service and food were fantastic Even though they were short staffed both servers (there were only 2 tonight and they were helping each other out I wish I remembered their names) were attentive and and amazing! Food was fresh and delicious as always! We are repeat customers and look forward to our next trip!
