Pizza places in Fruit Cove are mostly independent shops plus a few chains, and the practical questions are delivery radius, how long a Friday night pickup really takes, and whether they do gluten-free or cauliflower crust for the one person at the table who needs it. Most Fruit Cove shops take online orders. Call for large orders, team parties and catering trays, because the website cutoff is usually smaller than what the kitchen can actually do.
Confirm they deliver to your address
Gated communities in Nocatee, Palencia and World Golf Village trip up delivery apps. Call the shop and ask if their own drivers come to your neighborhood and what the fee is.
Pick the style you actually want
A thin New York slice, a wood-fired Neapolitan pie you eat with a fork, and a thick Detroit square are different meals. Look at photos of the crust and read the menu descriptions before ordering.
Order ahead on busy nights
Friday and Saturday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. is the rush, and so are football Sundays and beach weekends. Place the order 45 minutes to an hour before you want it and the time will be accurate.
Ask about allergies directly
Most shops offer gluten-free crust, but very few have a separate oven, so cross contact is real. If it is a true allergy and not a preference, ask how the dough is handled.
Check the catering minimums
For a team party or office lunch, ask about sheet pizzas, half trays of salad and wings, and how much notice they need. Most want a day for anything over about 10 pies.
