  When my wife moved to Jacksonville in 2024, one of the things she wanted to find was a good go-to açaí spot. This place is about a 30–45 minute drive depending on traffic, but for a while, she felt it was worth it. She would go at least once a month, sometimes more depending on where she was in town. Unfortunately, from late 2025 to now, the quality of both the food and service has noticeably gone down. One time, my wife brought me here to try it for the first time. I ordered Nutella toast, and while we were standing at the counter watching the food being made, we saw a staff member pick up a piece of toast that had the center completely missing. Instead of replacing it with a better piece, they told another staff member to just fill the center so it would look full. Another time, my wife brought a friend from out of town, and we all ordered açaí bowls. Every bowl was runny and nowhere near the quality she remembered. Most recently, my wife and I ordered one açaí bowl, and when we received it, it was basically a pool of sloppy, runny açaí. We walked out, then decided to go back in and say something. When we did, the staff member admitted, “It was too runny.” That was frustrating because it means they already knew it wasn’t right, but still served it anyway. We really used to enjoy this place, but at this point, we would rather make it at home. There is no reason for us to drive out of our way for food and service that no longer match the quality this place used to have.
