CISV is an incredible organization. I am now 29 years old but participated in CISV while I was in high school. My experiences there helped shape me into who I am today and what motivated me to become a social worker and promote equity and inclusion for ALL people. CISV not only allows folks to learn so much about other cultures and bond with folks who they would normally never have the chance too, but it teaches how we are all so much better when we appreciate each other for how diverse we all are. We are all truly better together.

My son absolutely LOVED his first CISV experience! He attended Village in Springfield, MA after his previous Barcelona one was cancelled. It didn’t matter at all that it wasn’t an international trip as he still got to meet and hangout with kids from all over the world. He can’t stop talking about how much fun he had and is already telling his younger sister that she has to do it! He came back home saying he wants to be a cool JC (Junior Counselor) just like his fun JC from Argentina.
Excellent programs for children and teens who want to build leadership skills, confidence and foster independence. My kids absolutely loved their CISV experiences! Highly recommended!
A wonderful organization with an admirable yet simple mission. Connect people across the world to break down barriers and foster understanding and sympathy. I was a leader for their camp many years ago and still look fondly upon the wonderful experience and friends made. :)
We love CISV and the opportunities it affords our children to learn about other cultures and cultivate global friendships!
