The Florida Lyme Disease Association has been incredibly helpful to myself and my family. We moved to Florida six years ago and had no local connections for Lyme Disease treatment resources. They were so incredibly helpful helping us to find a local support group, local Lyme Literate providers, and connected us to other families going through the challenges associated with having Lyme Disease. We are forever grateful to this organization for all of the help they have provided us over the years. They have also worked so hard to educate local providers about Lyme Disease, which made navigating the healthcare system easier. There is a lot of misinformation about Lyme in Florida and the work they have done has been so important.
FLDA helped us to figure out Lyme disease was at the root cause of serious, debilitating symptoms. It is an all volunteer non-profit that I have supported by volunteering myself to pay it back. I am incredibly thankful for those who guided us.
