Our Maltese Emma has been going to this New Day vet care location for 2 years. She loves everyone there, which is something she's never been inclined to do before at other vets in other states we've lived in. All the doctors that have been there and the nurses have been great. Now with Dr. Collins, she's definitely shown the love and care a veterinary clinic needs. We're so happy to have Dr. Collins!

My experience with New Day, World Golf, was absolutely amazing!! So professional, caring, kind, and supportive! My boy Bosco is my world, and they took the very best care of him. Thank you to the entire staff! Fantastic job! Definitely recommend this clinic and staff to everyone I know!

The resort/Pet Paradise side of the business has always been great. We have never had any issues there, and our dog absolutely loves it. Unfortunately, our experience with the veterinary side was very different. As soon as our dog entered the exam room, the veterinarian’s first question was, “Why isn’t your dog on his anxiety medication?” We were initially confused, then remembered that approximately six months ago we had been prescribed a medication for our dog’s very mild anxiety, which only occurs occasionally. We explained that we tried the medication once and our dog spent nearly 18 hours staring at walls, shaking, and appearing completely zoned out. Based on that experience, we did not feel the benefits outweighed the side effects for such infrequent symptoms. The veterinarian responded by saying that happens when he is given less than the prescribed amount and that if we had given him more, he would not have reacted that way. That explanation did not make much sense to us, but we moved on. What bothered us most was the judgmental tone throughout the visit. At discharge, after recommending treatment options, we were told that we seemed like “the kind of couple who may struggle with consistency for medications,” and that an allergy shot might not be the best option for us. That comment was unnecessary, unprofessional, and frankly insulting. There was nothing in our interaction that justified making assumptions about our ability to care for our pet or follow a treatment plan. As a healthcare provider myself, I regularly care for patients who choose not to take medications for various reasons, but I would never make personal judgments about them based on a single encounter. The issue is the bedside manner and the way we were spoken to. We left feeling judged rather than supported. Unfortunately, because of this experience, we will not be returning to the veterinary practice. The assistant was awesome btw

Dr. Collin’s and the practice manager Leigh Ann, are both so wonderful. They are extremely helpful, care for your pets as if they are their own, and only recommend what is needed for your pet. I would trust both of them with a new born baby!!!!
