This was a really cute place. They had a local author doing signings when we went. There was a good variety of books and genres considering it isn't the biggest space. They had some beautiful special edition books and a lot of bookish items. The romance nook was adorable and even featured spicy 🔥 stickers for adult romance novels.
Seriously awesome spot! We were visiting from out of town for my birthday and popped into this shop. It has the perfect indie bookstore vibe and the owner very clearly LOVES her job. I had just as much fun chatting with her as I did picking out my next read. Worth the stop off tenfold!
No Shelf Control is the coolest bookstore in town! They have a wonderful selection of books, unique gifts, and an outstanding collection from local authors. The atmosphere is welcoming, and there's always something new to discover. Whether you're looking for your next great read or a special gift, this is a must visit store.
We just experienced this hidden gem on a trip to St. Augustine. The shop is artfully decorated and thoughtfully organized with a wide variety of books for all ages. We loved the new mixed with the old which gave it that perfect mix of classic and modern reads. The prices were great and there’s even a box of “free to a good home” books to enjoy. This will definitely be a regular spot for us to pop in when we visit the area.
My kids were so excited to have a bookstore in the neighborhood as I have raised bookworms. Unfortunately, the owner is not kid friendly despite offering children’s books for sale. I wanted to keep supporting a small female owned business but after the way my kids were spoken to the last time we were in, we won’t be going back. If you’re looking for a quiet place to shop and read, this is the perfect place for you!
