I ordered a bouquet without lilies. I understand when a florist has to substitute but not substitute a non toxic flower for a toxic one. Only one flower was the same as what I ordered absolutely everything Including a beautiful mason jar vase for a cheap yard sale glass vase. The biggest issue is our beloved family pet is currently in the hospital fighting for its life because instead of making a simple phone call to ask about a substitution would have saved us from heartache on my daughters birthday. The manager MICHELLE of this florist shop tells me it’s not her problem I have to take it up with the website I ordered it from. She proceeded to tell me “have a nice day” no sympathy for their error no accountability when I told her that was a horrible thing to say have a nice day when our pet might die she said “well there’s no winning with you so god bless how bout that”
Unfortunately, I thought I was ordering directly from a local florist, as we live out of state. When I was upset with the terrible online company that misrepresented itself, I immediately called Park Avenue Florist to figure out what had happened. The breakdown in communication was not due to effort on my end; it was with the 3rd-party company I purchased from. Lydia took the time to listen to my complaint that was actually with the vendor and not them. They did exactly as was ordered and delivered on time. After sharing the full experience, they not only offered empathy but also replaced the flowers to represent the exact order I placed. I will not EVER purchase online again; I will order directly from Park Avenue Florist. The kindness, professionalism, and quality of the arrangement stood out when I needed to be heard and helped. This story will be shared. Choose them directly and always buy local! :) Also, beware of third-party organizations; they do not always communicate, and it is the end deliverer that is blamed. I am so thankful for their help and understanding. Let me add, this arrangement was beautiful and perfect!
My boss wanted to order flowers for his girlfriend's birthday and have them delivered to her hair salon while she was getting her hair done. His girlfriend's birthday & hair appt. were the following day, so he was kind of late in planning. Fortunately, both Haley and Lydia were so helpful and accommodating. He was extremely happy with the time they took with us on the phone while ordering. They shared details about the items they offered to accompany the flowers so my boss could choose the perfect gift. The flowers, balloon and teddy bear were delivered ON TIME. The florist even called to follow up and make sure everything went smoothly. The girlfriend loved the flowers and the salon owner said she was the envy of the salon!! Great job by the staff and the birthday girl was VERY PLEASED!!
I had such a wonderful experience with Park Avenue Florist! I stopped in this morning needing a sympathy arrangement for my neighbor, and even though I didn’t have an order placed ahead of time, Michelle and her amazing team went above and beyond to accommodate me. From the moment I walked in, everyone was so kind, compassionate, welcoming, and professional. As a family-owned business, they truly made me feel like a valued customer. They created a beautiful sympathy arrangement on the spot, and it was absolutely perfect. As always, Park Avenue Florist created the most beautiful flower arrangement! I've been a customer for 40 years, and they never disappoint!
