Went into grab three tacos to go. They were very quick to get the order completed. Very nice workers. I had the Asada chorizo and Pastor. There was some nice spicy dipping sauce to go with the tacos. I probably suggest to make that just a smidge sweeter. The chips and salsa were nicely done. The salsa was a great texture, not overly thick and not too liquidy just perfect. Definitely recommend stopping by for some tacos.
We had dinner here the other night and we had a Gem for our server, Luiza was so helpful and elevated a garnish that I didn’t know was possible, I had radish sliced as a garnish and they were fresh and moist, I have always had a love-Hate relationship with radish as I always want to eat them but then when I do I can’t decide if I like them, but Luiza gave me some wonderful advice to add Lime and salt and that changed radish for me for the rest of my life:) I ate every one of them. On top of the wonderful service, the environment was Open and inviting, it was calm and busy at the same time. The blue lights around the bar give a calming and cool vibe. The food was so Amazing I ordered 3 tacos and so did my husband, best tacos I have ever had! Looking forward to returning to this location! The Queso was something to remember as my husband had went here months ago and the queso left a lasting impression on him as it stays liquid and doesn’t harden over like other places. This was a top notch experience and we will be returning!! The Flan, my husband loves flan and he enjoyed it! It was presented very well and I had to photograph it! Thank You Taco Libre for becoming my Go-To Taco Place!
It was my first time there and I found the staff to be very friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed the carnitas tacos on corn tortillas. My wife also enjoyed her nachos. I will be definitely going back.
We loved this place! Eric was our waiter, and he was an absolute delight and made us feel right at home. The food was excellent, I strongly recommend the fish tacos. The prices for a vacation spot were more than reasonable, and the portions were generous without being too much. Each individual taco was hand crafted with fresh ingredients. Luis, the manager, made great recommendations and made sure we felt like valued customers even though it was our first time in. If you are looking for a friendly atmosphere, great food, and affordable prices, Taco Libre is the place for you.
We loved Taco Libre so much we went twice during our trip! The service was friendly both times, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great. We sat inside on one visit and outside on the other, and honestly enjoyed both. The Shroom Taco — which does have chicken — is AMAZING. 🌮 It is genuinely one of the best tacos I’ve ever had and I’d order it again in a heartbeat. Everyone in our family enjoyed their meal both times, which is always a win! Great food, friendly people, fun atmosphere, and definitely a place we’ll come back to when we’re in St. Augustine again. ❤️🌮
