They doubled the rent on my 5x10 storage unit in 1 year. Overall, the building is decent and the people that work there are nice. I often noticed dead bugs around the building and the humidity inside is not as controlled even though it is air conditioned. My problem comes in with the rent. When I first signed up with them, my rent was $65. In 6 months, they raised it to $80 and in another 6 months, they raised it to $125 for a 5x10. So I was basically paying the starting rent of a larger unit after a year. My cousin is also signed up with Atlantic (the one near the Town Center) and they raised her rate from $65 to $115 in 4 months. To me, this feels like a scam. I would have understood the raise in rent if there were improvements to the property, but no improvements were made while I rented. And when I called to discuss the rent, the associate on the phone told me that she could submit a request to lower it, but most likely they wouldn’t “help me out twice.” So I paid my rent on time every month and the company showed me that they didn’t care. Anyway, I stopped renting and would recommend another storage company.

Very great experience. Went in just to shop around for pricing and compare, and in return, received a tour and was able to view a few of the unit sizes I was interested in. I was very happy with the location, sizes available and the pricing, so much so that I agreed to my unit that same day. Patty was also really great and helped me with everything along the way.

My house is not as large. I needed more space and Atlantic Self Storage provides me with the space I need. It's secure, every square inch is inside, climate controlled and the employees are personal as well as professional. I've had my belongings there for several years and for the cost I can't see spending the extra money for a larger house.

I’ve been renting here for the last 3/4 years and truly have nothing but appreciation for this facility and the people who run it. Being family owned genuinely makes a difference. the property is always clean, well maintained, and clearly cared for. One small thing that has honestly been a lifesaver is having bathroom facilities on-site when spending long days organizing and moving things around. Also, as a woman who has been here alone many times, even later in the evenings, I’ve also always felt safe, which means a lot. The only small consideration is that rent has increased periodically (about every 6 months or so), but honestly that comes with the territory of renting storage units and has been my only real downside over several years as I was unfamiliar with that aspect of storage rentals. Overall, I’m very grateful for this place and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, safe, and well-managed storage facility.
