The women who works here is very rude. I called to see if they have the back glass for my phone in stock and my phone is the newest model. She told me she was going to check and then had me on hold over 10 minutes. I called back and she answered immediately so I know she wasn't actually checking. She heavy side and sounded annoyed that I called back to get an answer to my question. Proceeded to tell me that they don't have it in stock and they can't order it. Told me to call other locations if I want it done soon. Ridiculous.
I brought my PS5 in because it was overheating. The employee gave me several possible repair prices and began inspecting the system. She then asked whether I had a bug problem in my home. I told her I did not. She explained that if the overheating was caused by bugs, they would refuse the repair. However, I was still expected to pay a $60 service fee before receiving a clear diagnosis. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable proceeding because I had no assurance that I would receive a verifiable explanation for the problem after paying. I packed up my PS5 and left. The entire interaction left me feeling uneasy and distrustful of the process. They could literally take my money and say anything.
sketchy business for sure, isnt your typical ubreakifix… they go against almost everything their official website says. just like a quirky chain restaurant but not the good way. the website says they will diagnose the issue free then charge “after” repair, but the lady inside said thats not true and that their specific location is different so they wanted me to pay her just to tell me what was wrong with it, she also kept saying they “dont work on ps5 controllers” (not what the website says) then later in the conversation she backtracks to say they will work on it but they would charge me extra for no defined reason. 50/50 chance this place is potentially a money laundering scheme. waste of gas! This place shouldnt be apart of the ubreakifix chained establishment but instead a independent repair shop if they cant do what their website says…personal opinion i suppose.
Great service, fixed my virus filled phone. certainly is operating a lot faster than before. Simone, front office attendant is very friendly and knowledgeable. Will use in ubreakiFix in the future..
I had a bad experience twice replacing a pixel 7a screen at the St. Augustine uBreakiFix. The first time was on Oct. 28th. I had the screen replaced at this location. $220 cash. No warranty or insurance on the phone. Within two days a bright, bright line ran vertically down the screen. I was too lazy to go in and get it replaced. On May 25th, I had the screen replaced again because it had begun to get the ink splatter look when the pixels in the screen crack and bleed. Another $220. Again, two days later the screen began to get the ink splatter broken pixels. I immediately took it back in and was told I couldn't get any kind of refund because the screen was scratched. The screen was not scratched. I didn't try to get $440, just the $220. I was told the manager worked at another store in Palm Coast and they would contact me on Wednesday. No one contacted me; hence my first bad review in years. I won't try to repair a phone again. I'll just buy a new one on Amazon.
