I had an appointment for consultation with Dr Woodling last week re: the extraction of a broken, non-restorable back molar. From the moment I met him I was so very impressed by his professionalism and knowledge, his warm and caring manner and by the time he took to answer all of my questions. After doing panoramic imaging, he offered to remove the tooth during that visit rather than having me come back for another appointment, and I readily accepted. After numbing the site, he quickly and efficiently removed the tooth. During the actual extraction process Dr Woodling continuously talked to me, explaining what sounds I might hear and movement/pressure I might feel, keeping me feeling calm and reassured throughout. There was no pain at all during the extraction or at any time afterwards. Per the aftercare instructions I took a Tylenol when the numbness started wearing off, but I wasn’t in pain, so I never took another dose.That was 3 days ago, and I have had zero pain! Dr Woodling gave me instructions for aftercare and how to contact him with any problems. His assistant gave me the printed instructions and reviewed then with me. In follow-up, Dr Woodling texted me that evening to check on how I was doing, which I really appreciated. Although it might be an exaggeration to say that having a tooth extracted was a pleasure, my experience with Dr Woodling and his wonderful staff was truly excellent! And although it’s a 40 minute drive from my home to Dr Woodling’s office, I’d happily make that drive anytime to receive his truly superior care. With his excellent surgical skills, caring and calm demeanor and his terrific staff, I give Dr Woodling the highest recommendation possible!
My teenage son had a mucocele removed. Dr. Woodling and his assistants were very friendly, explained the procedure, what to expect, addressed questions and concerns thoroughly. This was my son’s first “procedure” and I thought they did a great job to make him as comfortable as possible. Dr. Woodling even followed up later that night to ensure he was doing well. We will be returning for wisdom teeth removal.
Woodling oral surgery and dental Plant is amazing! The professionalism and everything about the place is great. Doctor Woodling is fantastic. From beginning to the end. Even His technique of injecting the numbing for the extraction was amazing. He removed my tooth with ease. And very little pain afterwards because of his techniques. I would recommend anyone who has to have an extraction or anything done with their teeth to him and his staff.. Great job everyone!
I have terrible anxiety with any dental procedures and as a result have put off work that has needed to be done for years. When I couldn't wait any longer due to an infection that developed, an acquaintance recommended that I see Dr. Woodling. His staff worked me in within 2 days. I was in a great deal of pain and was so grateful to be seen right away. The entire staff immediately put me at ease. I was able to have quite a bit of work done without being medicated. I had 2 extractions performed and was shocked when Dr. Woodling told me that the teeth were out because I didn't feel a THING! I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Woodling! He is skilled and professional with an excellent "chair side" manner!!
My concern about having a large molar removed because of infection reaching the bone eased through Dr. W’s attentive listening and clear explanation. His compassionate narrative during the procedure made me feel entirely comfortable, leading to a brief and pain-free experience. Exceeded my expectations to quickly and completely recover.
